The All-on-4 dental implant technique is FDA-approved and has a long history of success.

“All on 4” and “Teeth in a Day” are terms used to describe a procedure that allows patients to receive replacement teeth in just one day. You may hear of other versions of this procedure, such as “Teeth in an Hour,“ “Dental Implants in One Day,“ “Teeth In One Day,” or “Teeth In One Visit.” While they go by many names, all refer to a one-day implant treatment, which restores a full arch of replacement teeth.

The All-on-4 treatment concept utilizes four dental implants to attach your new set of permanent replacement teeth in a minimally invasive way. The dental implants used in this procedure are specially designed for immediate function and typically do not require bone grafting.

This treatment is ideal for patients with traditional or snap-in dentures or those in need of full upper and/or lower restorations. The implants act as a foundation for replacement teeth. They won’t decay and are designed to last for the rest of your life. Implants can be used in conjunction with various dental procedures to improve oral health. Once they are installed, you’re much less likely to face problems with slippage and discomfort.

Other dental implant approaches often require more laborious and costly techniques, including bone grafting, sinus lifts, and eight or more implants per arch. These approaches can take up to three years to complete treatment.

Four appliances are placed into the jawbone and gums and left to heal sufficiently before the implant bridge can be secured in place. Once implanted, the bridge will never need to be removed and will resemble the appearance of your natural teeth.

As with all dental implants, All-on-4 dental implants are placed during an outpatient surgical procedure in Dr. Park’s Nashville office. Most patients will want to take advantage of some sort of IV sedation (included) for this procedure, in addition to the local anesthetic that will be used. Before leaving Dr.Park’s office, you are fitted with the prosthetic arch, a fixed bridge. After the implants have fully integrated with the bone, you may return to receive a second, stronger bridge.
